Walmart delivered!
Went to Walmart yesterday and the Pepsi 12 packs were on sale for $1.90 to beat Hy-vee prices. Says on the tag "While Supplies Last"
They also had kids girls and boys shoes marked down to $10. I got 2 pair for Zerius because they were last in the size we needed. I will be back to see if they marked them down some more.
Hope you all got your free movies at Redbox today! At Walmarts only use the code 11moms4ua, today only.

Free pet food!
On www.giveabowl.com they have $4 off IP coupon for any size Purina brand cat or dog food. Walmart 3.5lb bags of Friskies runs about $4. Website only leet me print one but I have heard that others have been able to print more.
I also had a little bug tell me Walmart woule be able to find beat the $2 12 pack of Pepsi. I'm headed there tomorrow to check it out. You might want to stock up while you can. My understanding is that Pepsi have decided to downsize their packaging to 8 cans and charge the same amount. I believe they are they are getting the old stuff sold to make room for the new stuff.
In other news... a couponer will be on the show Wife Swap Jan 16th, make sure to check it out. Should be interesting!

Bought a new printer
So my old printer ran out of ink the other day. I have printed so many coupons poor thing couldn't handle it.
Went to Walmart to pick up the black ink and they wanted $21 for it but was out. They said it would be a week or two before back in stock. So I looked at the printers. I noticed the HP all-in-printer that was on sale for $29 on Black Friday is now marked down to $24.
Being the frugal person I am I made sure and check the prices on the ink. $14.50 for black and $18 for color. Much better than what my previous printer ink costs. I'll probably still check on ebay and see if I can get a better price.

I think I am getting more noticed for my coupons all the time. The cashier asked before ringing me up if I had any match ads first LOL. Then on the way out the door another cashier wanted to know what good deals I had gotten today.
I will be giving a coupon class for a Family Rewards meeting sometime in February or March. I'm looking forward to it. I told them I should bring all the free stuff I have in my basement and then realized I probably couldn't fit it in the van.
I noticed these good deals this weekend at Hy-vee. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only. They also are serving cake on Saturday from 11 a.m until 1 p.m. to welcome the store director. I'll be there for cake and good deals on Saturday!

Another Trip to Walmart
I noticed on my receipt from Walmart yesterday that had not given me my $1 off the Almond Bark and actually charged me an additional .94. So I went to Customer Service and got my $2.08 back. CHECK your receipts always!

All the stuff I got from Kmart during the week.
Just thought I would put it into perspective. This is all the stuff from Kmart that I paid $6.44 total for. Not all items are in the picture because the kids ate or drank it before we got the pictures taken.
My shelves in the basement are full again! I need to figure out how to get those free. *wink*
I plan to go shopping tomorrow so check back again.

This is new for me...
Lately I have been so busy trying to let all my friends and family in on all of the deals I am getting it's getting too hard to keep track of who I told what. So I decided a blog might be the best way to go.
Hopefully I can be informative and inspiring to some along the way.
We spent the day in Des Moines trying to get as many free items as we could while Kmart is still doing Double Coupons.
The first Kmart we went to on Hickman Rd. I was pleasantly and they had almost everything we needed. We had a friendly cashier but I noticed the coupons were not deducting correctly.
Total before coupons on the 1st order was $61.42, after coupons total was $16.17. Surprisingly high considering most of the items I picked up would be free.
Total before coupons on the 2nd order was $61.03, after coupons total was $7.24. Much closer to the right amount but still more than it was suppose to be.
I told the cashier something had happened and the coupons were deducted incorrectly. She told me to take it to the service desk and have it taken care of. I took more than an hour and a lot of headache to get it sorted all through. When we finally did they refunded me back $29.xx, MORE than I had originally paid for both orders! So I walked away with $6 more dollars in my pocket.
I took the $6 and went to the Kmart on University. Their computer did both my transactions smoothly and I would have paid $26.50 before coupons, $.90 after, for my first order and $27.31 before coupons, $2.48 after, for the second. I still had about $3 in my pocket.

Then we went to Walgreen's. I was in search of the Reach toothbrushes that reaped the Register Rewards but they were all out.
I bought 5 Colgate Total toothpastes.
They were on sale for $2.99 each.
I had $1 off coupons for all of them
And they gave me $2 in RR (register rewards) for each one purchased.
I bought 6 Crayola Color Wonder Kits that were on sale for 3/$13.98, bringing my total to $29.92.
-$10 in RR
Paid OOP (out of pocket) $19.92
I also received another $5 RR for an order over $25.
I then purchased 2 bottles of Echinacea that were B1G1 (buy one get 1) for $5.49.
Used the $5 RR
Paid $1.48 OOP
Total OOP for all items purchased today right under $30.
